Nice idea BUT.... Did anyone read the comments on this posting? There are way too many idiots looking for a fight going to this thing. Someone is going to make this get out of hand. I'm sorry but at this point these kind of events can only hurt the "image" of the 2nd amendment movement. This is exactly what Brady wants. A bunch of redneck blowhards with slung RIFLES and ammoed to the hilt "Provoking" law enforcement. You want to demonstrate fine. Be smart. Handguns in holsters is one thing carrying an arsenal of weapons is reckless.

I agree, but I also think it's a moot point. Do you really think the Department of the Interior is going to give final approval for this thing?
Personally, I think empty holsters in DC speaks MUCH louder than slung longarms in Virginia.

I will not be surprised when or if someone is placed in the crowd just to stir it up and give the feds a reason . In theory its a great idea. And yes I read the comments, angry people with guns that feel like they have nothing to lose.
