It does not matter if you agree with the law or not. if you break the law, expect to be punished.

True, BUT... He left his gun in the truck assumedly outside any POTUS security perimeter. I don't know what the rule is for school property there, but that should be the only thing in question.

Except when the school is closed, the courts have ruled it is just another public building, and school rules do not apply.
