I know what the problem is!! anyone that's been to Guam knows, with a beer store, tattoo parlor, massage parlor, strip joint and bar on every block, you too would be unstable after two to three blocks....  ;D  I know this because we depart Guam in about 6 hours. I love this place.  :D
also, pelosi runs the show here and nixed the bid to raise minimum waige to what it is everywhere else in the states. KEEP 'EM POOR!

Sweet suffering Jesus! (my apologies to The Lord, but it had to be said :-\). Whomever voted for this guy (his name wasn't mentioned) should be shot. Honestly, you could have picked a name at random out the phone book in his district and not done worse.  This clown is making decisions about CINCPAC's forward basing? Screw party, I say that if you vote for someone dumber than you, for any office, you should be sentenced to 6 months of re-runs of "The View", the "O'Reilly Factor" and "Survivor", all played on a non-stop loop. Oh, wait, that's probably what you watch anyway. Yikes, this guy needs to get back to whatever he was obviously jonseing for (as a caffine/nicotine addict I recognize withdrawal when I see it and this guy was going through it, and that's no BS). Rule number 1? The more you need a fix, the less you talk, otherwise you paint yourself as a fool. The shortest lectures I ever gave were when the coffee shop was closed or I couldn't find a tin of Skoal or Copenhagen. Sad, but true. I wish the Navy had a decoration for suffering fools because that admiral deserved one.

Well - your elected officials at work - 'free healthcare - that be good - I vote for it. No can't read! Can barely speak!'

Obviously a scientist before he went to Washington. It's time to vote out these bastards & if need be physically remove them!!!!

He redefines the term Lions for Lambs. This crap for brains should not be making decisions for real men.

AH, Cynthia McKinney.   California's and Georgia's former ambassador to outer space.

Well he did manage to memorize the Encylopedias Brittanica entry on Guam. How long and wide it was etc. He couldn't quite get to how many square miles, but that's higher math. ::) Honestly, as cynical as I am from teaching poli sci and working as paid campaign staff I have never seen such a sorry speciman. It goest to show that I am right. A girlfriend once accused me of being a pessimist about the government. I told her she was dead wrong, I was an optimist. I explained that no matter how bad things appear to be, you shouldn't worry. They can always get worse. This guy replacing McKinney (previously the dumbest member of Congress) proves it.

The guy does suffer from Hep C and most of his liver is gone. :P  And he does some serious drugs that may deprive him of his ability to think things through with any semblance of logic. ???  And, he has been known to lose his train of thought in mid-sentence. ::)

And in re-reading the above, I find it is less of an excuse for his obvious stupidity and more of a reason why he should be under the care of a keeper and not making decisions that could impact real people.  But, Pelosi put him on the committee...

On a much more positive note, did you notice the aplomb exercised by the Admiral?  He did not burst out laughing.  He did not fall on the floor while guffawing.  He didn't ask, "WTF did you just ask me?"  He did not finger-point and yell, "Moron."  He simply showed amazing discipline and self-control and responded to the idiot congresscritter's fear of Guam capsizing by acknowledging that was an unlikely possibility.

Our government under this administration has become a joke.  I weep for my nation. :'(

Yes...I was impressed with the Admiral's discipline.  He may have struggled to suppress a grin when he said  "We don't anticipate that happening".  On the other hand, he had a lot of time while listening to the ramblings of this Government Official who repeated the four facts he knew about Guam,  it is an island, it is 24 miles long, it is 12 miles at it's widest and it is seven miles at it's narrowest, several times, to get his urge for hysterical laughter under control.

The Admiral did allow a wry smile to pass his lips, tho, and the people behind him reacted, one started texting.
