I just watched this week's Cowboys episode with Jessie Abbate (sigh), and Tupelo said "clip" twice. Is there a cat in the house?
-
Yes he did and I immediately thought of Haz.
Of course Tup is a Cowboy shooter and doesn't have a need for a magazine.
-
I didn't notice that, but I did notice them saying for 2 months before a big match she shoots 1000 rounds of day. That alot of rounds in a short period of time.

Yes, I heard that, too. Is all of that supplied by sponsors?

I don't get the Outdoor channel. It isn't even offered on Business FIOS TV. That being said, MB! Get yer show hosts under control! ;)

CLIP is a perfectly appropriate word. I had my barber "clip"my hair yesterday afternoon. But, of course it has nothing to do with weaponry. Sheesh. ;)

Tupelo is a proven great shooter when it comes to competition, and he has a wealth of information and flash when it comes to hosting. However, his carelessness with muzzle control and other basic firearm safety flaws on camera, and his terminology errors take the show down a notch for me. I now watch Cowboys with the same mindset I watch firearms shows on the Sportsman Channel. They contain good information that requires much filtering and only as an supplement to other venues.
Sorry Tupelo! I'm sure you are a very nice and fun man, or the M's wouldn't have hooked up with you. But, your just not my cup-of-tea on tv. Let's sit down and share some cigars while pulling the cork and see if a friendship could grow.

I think I heard her say in an interview that Glock provides her with her 9MM ammo. Or was it Randi Rogers? Oh well. It probably applies to both of them.

....which makes one wonder why he's talking about clips anyway.....where does one put the clip on a SAA?.....
;D

He was talking to/about Jesse Abbate in her role as a Cowboy shooter and Steel Plate shooter. With the latter she shoots a Glock, hence "clips".

Uh, guys, cut him some slack. He is an Elvis impersonator after all.

And they are appropriately called "moon magazines", not "moon clips", right? ;D
