Title: Happy Easter!
Post by: Ulmus on April 03, 2010, 08:52:19 PM
I know it's a bit early, but I wanted to wish it before things get hectic.  May your day be enjoyable and full of family!

Christmas is fun, exciting and gets all the "press."

Friday was forgotten and/or ignored by the masses.

Sunday is the day everything is all about!

Experience it, believe it, accept it and ENJOY  IT !!!

Christ has died, Christ has risen, Christ will come again.
Happy and blessed Easter, to all. I pray you are all with your families tomorrow, and for those who cannot, double the prayers, and we are with you, no matter how far you are from us and your families. A full plate is set for you, even if you cannot eat it with us.

Haz - You and Jr. have a good day!

Big Tom - Thanks for everything!  Have a good one with Kathy (say hey to her too) and anyone else you may be with.

The 3 M's (and assorted staff ... yes, you too RP) - I can't begin to express my thankfulness for this site and everything else you produce for our use!

Everyone else - Thanks for being family and a counter balance to the outside world, and for always being there.

Have a great Easter today and from now on!

Mike

Just saw this on another site and it's too good not to share:   Today is the holiday that reminds us we’re all part of the same family, with a father who never gives up on us, and an older brother who would do anything for us.

God bless you all and have a safe and happy Easter.

Happy Easter to each and every one of you! Nothing in the oven today, just going to sit back and take it easy. Worked like a dog yesterday shampooing the carpets. The joint looks nice and clean. I'm done!  Bill T.

I couldn't get together with my biological family today, so I thought I'd at least "hang out" with my DRTV fam.   :)  Happy Easter and God bless you all.

I'm coming in a bit late today with my Happy Easter to all. But I have a good excuse - my almost-4-year old granddaughter.

First thing this morning, it was "discover the Easter basket". Then get dressed (her in a brand new bright yellow dress bought for the occasion) and off to breakfast at a restaurant near the church. Then an absolutely beautiful, moving and exceptional service. Back home, get changed, then collect all of the brightly colored goodies the Easter Bunny had left us her in the yard. Open the plastic ones and collect about 40 pounds of candy into a plastic zip-log. Then watch as she plays with the new Barbie doll, and all of her new farm animal friends (little plastic ones - I live in town so no real ones).

Gorgeous day, so it was back outside and play kickity-kick ball (soccer) - until a spill that abraded her hands ended the game.

It was a spectacular day, made most memorable by having her on my lap through services. As was done with Christmas, I patiently explained that this day was all about when the baby Jesus was all grown up, and gave us the most wonderful gift of salvation.

Easter blessings to all my friends and family here, now and through the entire year. There is nothing that God can't do, and prayer is the way to His heart.

I was serious earlier, so this one will be in keeping with our normal posts ... Except I am staying formal rather than casual  ;)
