Arizona man arrested after gun fires at Walmart
(AP) – 11 hours ago
PHOENIX — Authorities said a Surprise man has been arrested on suspicion of endangerment when the gun he was carrying discharged inside a Walmart in El Mirage. El Mirage police said the 30-year-old man entered the store around 1 a.m. Thursday and witnesses said he repeatedly fidgeted with a holstered semi-automatic pistol.
When he went to a counter to pay for a video game, witnesses said he removed the gun from the holster — causing the magazine to come loose and fall to the floor. They said he reinserted the magazine and continued manipulating the gun when it fired, sending one bullet into the ceiling.
Police said no injuries were reported. He was booked into the downtown Phoenix jail on six counts of endangerment and firing a weapon in city limits.

He needs to be charged and lose his ccw.

He Probably will be. But seriously, when you're at a checkout counter there's only one reason to pull your gun from the holster.

He needs to be charged and lose his ccw.
If he even had one. Here in Arizona open carry is legal without a permit. There is currently a bill being proposed that would allow concealed carry without a permit also. Bill T.

Right about now, he may be one of the safest people with a firearm in that area. At least, if he's the type to learn from mistakes. I'm glad no one got hurt.

There has to be more to this. I can't believe they would stick him with so many charges if was just a accidental discharge. I'm betting there was alcohol, or else he became a smart a$$. Something isn't right. Bill T.

Even if his firearm became loose in the holster one doesnt need to hit a mag release, place the gun on a counter and then squeeze the trigger in order to place back firmly in the holster does one?
Perhaps instead of all those charges taking said pistol and smacking the butt upside of his noggin may instill a better safe handling procedure. If issue does not resolve, continue said remedy until sinks in. What a douche!

Probably a libtard, sounds like he never handled one before.
