Title: $31,406 per household................................. THIS YEAR!

Quote
Washington will spend $31,406 per household in 2010 — the highest level in American history (adjusted for inflation). It will collect $18,276 per household in taxes. The remaining $13,130 represents this year's staggering budget deficit per household, which, along with all prior government debt, will be dumped in the laps of our children. • Government spending has increased by $5,000 per household since 2008, and nearly $10,000 per household over the past decade. Yet there is no free lunch: If spending is not reined in, then eventually taxes must also rise by $10,000 per household.

Who says Obama is an idiot..... call it a conspiracy theory if you want, but Obama is growing the beast so that we will be forced to feed it - with taxes.  >:(

Exactly why bho does not qualify for the most incompetent US President ever. He is actually very productive and competently selling this country out.

Jimmah has nothing to worry about - he was clearly incompetent, not to mention a closet bigot, and an absolute train wreck of a president.

I will also point out that a few days back it came out that something like 49% of households do NOT pay any taxes, so really you can probably double that $31,406 number and that is what is really pinned on those of us that actually do contribute to the treasury.

Much of the tax collected is corporate income tax.

They pay but don't count as a household.

Corps don't pay income tax.  They pay capital gains tax.

Corporations are considered as 'individuals'  for many legal issues including tax.

From Wiki

Corporate tax in the United States is imposed both by the federal government and by most state governments. The federal income tax on corporations is the more significant tax, in terms of the tax rates, the number of entities affected and the complexity of its rules.

Hmmmmm, as Fox news reported the annual working household income was down 4%...

My company could not afford bonus last year, (and not this year also) two years ago, the average bonus was $3000.00 up to $8000.00 :'(

Thanks BHO. >:(

Some folks bash Bush, but we had full employment and raging work and bonus's. Two years later,.........

 :-\

Just thankful to still have my job.

Can;t wait for the VAT, or Amnesty, or the Healthcare taxes to kick in, or the Bush tax cuts to expire,.......really looks promising.,...

Has anyone else noticed that the media has been completely silent about the Bush tax cuts expiring. Remember when that happens we go back to Clinton level taxation. The highest income taxes in US history. Then we start paying health care taxes on top of that.

Really makes me want to go and work harder to get ahead.  >:(

Both of these heads of the same snake did this to us. Get over the left/right argument and concentrate on a new party for crying out loud. They last six presidents have contributed to our demise. Good cop, bad cop. Let's get a new cop.

A third party would be a mistake, and would almost insure that the Reps/Dems stay in power. What needs to happen is that the Rep. party needs to be taken over by the Tea party. This is pretty much what happened to the dems. They were hijacked by the fringe back in the 60's and have marched closer to socialism ever since. Now through political correctness they have all but silenced the opposition.

The Tea party is the voice, and the backbone of the people. Take over the rep. party and we can take the country back. Try to form your own party and you might as well not even bother. The problem is, that while popular, the Tea party just doesn't have the numbers yet.

BHO was in Miami last week, and mentioned that those "Rally Folks" are paying low taxes, and should be thankful.

Your right though, NO mention about the Bush tax cuts expiring.

HOPEFULLY, November's outcome can change that, as Congress gets a facelift, and new blood in there.

But if they do expire, that would effect all, including those that make less than $250,000 a year, and that would be a broken campaign promise. Imagine that. >:(
