My mother(a former lead auditor for FTB, Ca IRS)  just got done doing my wifes taxs, She owes then about 6k.

That really sucks, TAB.

I don't know what is more depressing about taxes...the fact that they always want more, or the fact that once they get their hands on it, they can't seem to keep from pissing it away.

Try paying quaterly when your self employed...

I remember a cartoon I saw...

It had a man sitting bent over a desk with papers spread all over it..and he is looking over his shoulder and there is Death in his black robe and big sythe with his hand out comforting the guy...

And the caption is Death saying..   "No hurry...take you time...finish your taxes"
