PHOENIX -- The Arizona House on Monday voted for a provision that would require President Barack Obama to show his birth certificate if he hopes to be on the state's ballot when he runs for reelection.
The House voted 31-22 to add the provision to a separate bill. The measure still faces a formal vote.
It would require U.S. presidential candidates who want to appear on the ballot in Arizona to submit documents proving they meet the constitutional requirements to be president.
Phoenix Democratic Rep. Kyrsten Sinema said the bill is one of several measures that are making Arizona "the laughing stock of the nation."
Mesa Republican Rep. Cecil Ash said he has no reason to doubt Obama's citizenship but supports the measure because it could help end doubt.

AZ is sounding more and more like a good place to live.
-
I've wanted to live in AZ for a while now. It just keeps getting more and more attractive to me. ;D
-
BHO's greatest achievement will be that he got the states to clean up the election process. By actually looking for and no longer tolerating fraud, by either the voters, or the candidate.
-
Considering that in every state I've held a license to drive I was required to show my Birth Certificate, this only makes sense.
John McCain was required because he was born in Panama on a military base, why not the Post Turtle in Chief...

Dang....Their gun laws.... now this... maybe other states will follow suit..

He is never going to show.
if I was him, at this point I wouldn't every show it. Just to piss the people that want to see it off.

The only problem with that, TAB, is that if the law stands and he fails to show it, he is up shit creek, and his name will NOT appear on the ballot in AZ. Probably not such a big deal as far as he's concerned, unless enough other states follow suit that it forces the issue. In that scenario I would half expect him to not run again.

The fact that he would give up being on the ballot in even one state because he refused to show proof of citizenship should be so damning that only those who consume his Kool-Aid through an IV would vote for him.
-
Its funny because the senate had a formal look into McCain's elligability during the election.......... nobody is calling them racist.
-
I wonder why BHO applied for financial aid as a "foreign student",.....went to Pakistan in 1980, and made it there, when America was not allowing Americans to go to Pakistan at that time.....foreign passport???
Hmmmm.. ::)
Damn Birthers,..... ;)

Yep.
You sometimes only have to pull one single orange out of the big pile to bring the whole pile tumbling down all over the place.
