So why were there so many armored car robberies/attempts recently?

The one local to me, Germantown, had on headline here screaming 'guard shoots and kills unarmed robber', like you need to be armed before you get shot.  ::)

Now here is even more prof that Social Security and Medicare are not up to the needed standards.
