Title: Dumb Question I'm Sure, But...

I've been a member of this forum for quite a while, so I should probably already know this, but what is the deal with the DRTV Ranger designation under the avatars of most of the members?  Is there any actual meaning to it or is it just the cool thing to do?   :)

i thought it was to designate a moderator or something similar. probably wrong though...
