I'm trying to fix up a designated pistol belt for a Glock 22 to live in the trunk of my car (holster, mag.carrier etc.). Will all of these accessories fit on a standard 2" military type belt or are some only designed to fit certain other systems, or does it depend upon the manufacturer?
I've been looknig primarily at Condor products because of their price point.........but hey, whatever will work, Mp

Alice pack related stuff will, I don't know about the rest.

The Vtech (5.11) will work and so will the MOLLE

Great, Thanks Guys, MP

Check out Blade Tech. They have a new system that might work for you.

You know if you're looking for a holster and mag pouches, you may just want to look at a 5.11 PUSH pack. and get their backup holster that works with the fleece in one of the pockets. There are MOLLE strips on. I've got their cellphone pouch and a pistol mag pouch and a carbine mag pouch also mounted on it, with a few other necessities in the pack itself

Thanks again,
I have an irrational desire to have the pistol in a 'flap' holster whilst it's rolling around in the trunk and I've just ordered this :
http://www.opsgear.com/index/page/product/product_id/987/product_name/MOLLE+Holster
and a Uncle Mikes double mag carrier from Ebay for .99c (+$5 shipping!).
The belt came from a surplus to requirement pistol cross draw vest.
As an ex cop I thought about adding a 'cuff pouch and then reconsidered......as I really don't want to take any prisoners :)
Any other suggestions for additional additions ( ;) ) would be greatly appreciated

Drop pouch to hold empty mags
water bottle holder
First aid kit (Ventilated Operator Kit)
general purpose pouch (powerbars, phone, etc)

One to hold multi purpose tool also.

OK, thanks again for all your advice, here's where I am up to now:
The Uncle Mikes mag carrier , of course, fits fine as does the Cabela's 10 round shotgun cartridge carrier - the old 870 is always in the trunk.
The MOLLE 'pistol pouch' was WAY too slack a fit using the attached straps BUT, with the application of a very hot metal stick and introduction of a coupla' "Chicago Screws" it now fits great!.........albeit not as speedy to remove :(
I'm diggin' the water bottle idea and, I'm sure that this has been discussed before but, which MultiTool is generally considered the finest these days?

Bic,
If you are going to hang much more stuff on there you need a shoulder harness to help hold it all up.

:-[Yeah..I'm just figurin' that out.......60 extra rounds o' .40cal. & 10 of 2 3/4" OO Buck plus the loaded pistol is a leeeeetle weighty, but a fun & cheap project non the less. Maybe I'll lose the shotgun cartridges and substitute the famous coffee maker :)

In all seriousness, the Alice type shoulder rig (or for that matter just a pair of old school wide red suspenders with the clips, wich can be replaced with sewn loops) isn't that bad an idea. I mean, its not like you're going for subtle here. If you want to be more low key throw a hip lenghth Aussie style game coat or a rain parka over it. Pull it closed without zipping it and you may sweat, but you won't scare the neighbors. Plus the big pockets on the Aussie coat will hold a fair few shells. Although if you're carrying 60 rounds of .40 and ten of buck, plus water and first aid, I'm guessing that the scaring the neighbors bridge has already been crossed and burned. ;)

:)Yeah, I guess. My immediate neighbour is about half a mile away and a shooter so he doesn't care much, this'll be only to "get me to my long gun": - Clint Smith
