OK, Could some one PLEEASE tell me how to get the darn trigger group to lock back into place ???
-
Tom, make sure the safety is engaged and the hammer is back.
-

oh, and what m25 said,... ::)

I got it. Fibreforce stock is not inletted for the side scope mount. Did some hacking and wolloped it with a bigger hammer and it clicked into place .
What a PITA.

Cool, Tom. I got a Tapco stock for mine, needed to gently sand down some areas to get the SKS back together. Just one of the things you put up with for a reliable Capitalist/Imperialistic Pig shooter made for the Glorious Peoples Revolutionary peasantry/cannon fodder.
Uniform tolerances? We dun need no stinkin' uniform tolerances! ;D
btw, did you have a heluva time knocking the tapered pin out of the hand guard?
-
I haven't even touched it. One CF per week end thank you ;D

The good news is that the sks, the AK and the Moisin are probably the only three guns in the world where "get a bigger hammer" might not be be bad advice. ;D

Don't forget the Nagant pistol. Iann Hogg once stated that his Father in Law (a Russian immirgrant) once told him that the Nagant was an excellent firearm, because there wasn't any problem that you couldn't fix in the battlefield with a hammer. (History Channel's "Tales of the Gun")
