El Sol de Mexico (Mexico City) 5/10/10
The director of Mexico’s “INM” (National Immigration Agency) in Morelia, Michoacán, Julio Ibarrola, stated that constant operations are carried out in night spots, hotels, restaurants, bars and highways for the purpose of finding aliens who might be working in the state (Michoacán) and to verify their legal status. He pointed out that 71 aliens of different nationalities have been located this year, and eight have been deported for not having proper documentation, and added, “In any event, we have the obligation of continuing to be vigilant, we have to verify the status of each one of the aliens because there are some who are able to work in this country, but (only) by meeting certain requirements, and the Mexican laws are amply clear.”

Wow I guess that it is all right for them to racial profile.

Please forgive me, but isn't entering and working in Mexico illegally, kind of like breaking into prison. ??? For some reason, I get the mental image of soon to be "illegals" exchanging pleasantries as they cross the Rio Grande in opposite directions.

That's good ;D
They are talking about Mexico's SOUTHERN border LOL

Damn Frosty! You're teasing me. I thought from the title that Mexico was looking FOR illegal alien workers. If that were the case, we've got several million we could send them free of charge. No need for the pictures on the milk cartons, we know where they are. ;D

They have the same issue with their southern border that we do.
For Americans working illegally there, I will bet most are in the "recreational pharmaceutical" business.

It must be that they are doing jobs no Mexican will do.

Yeah, I assumed that was the case, but reality wasn't nearly as funny as the mental picture of the Rio Grande I got after reading the thread title.
