Buddy, you are wasting time with the Agricultural Commision!

Even his horse pays attention to him.
And he looks comfortable hanling his lever gun...and I bet he does mean business

Finger on the trigger....
-
Saw this on http://Hotair.com yeserday and thought Dale looks like he has real potential. Finger on the trigger or not, I'm going to bet it's not the first time he's held a lever gun. Besides, we don't know if he's racked a round or not. We do know the hammer is not cocked back so the trigger really isn't an issue. I think he's somebody to keep an eye on and possibly support for higher office. He sounds like a straight talking Southerner--and that'ssomething I can get behind.
-
He got carried away....put his finger on the triger when he was THINKING of who needed to be shot rather than when he actually points the gun at them....
are .30-30 rounds cheaper than 20 ft of rope?
VERY forceful speech ...and I don't think teleprompters can scroll that fast :D :D :D

Gotta say I was impressed. I do think he might be of more use in Congress than the Ag Comission (based on nothing but this ad).
Still, I do have a bit of a problem with the rifle. They're symbolic concerns, but still troubling. Here's why.
1 It seems to me it was unecessary. Too many politicians want to wave "guns" around (zero tolerance, three strikes, RICO, AWBs, Patriot Act etc.), when they'd be best left in the holster. Have the gun, just don't pull it till you mean to use it.
2 The booger hook on the bang switch. Again, too many pols are playing around with power that they don't understand or have enough repect for. They wind up using it unsafely.
Its not a slam on this guy, I agreed with every word he said. I even like the tone.
Still, if there was ever a metaphor of what's wrong with government "unsafe gunhandling" by politicians would be near the top of the list.

I think the metaphor of bringing the gun into play was intended to show the best way to fix what is wrong in government ;D
*It was a joke, lurking secret servie guy. Tom Bogan is the one you are looking for ;)

Yes, I'm the one with the nads, Eric is just a wind bag ;D
-
Damn!! He makes me wish I lived in Alabama!!
-
UPDATE: He lost.... actually came in third, but here is his endorsement (with gun play)
"3rd place? What the hell?.... Vote for John Mac-Millan or I'll kick your ass!"
-
Damn it Eric! You've given me many reasons to be annoyed with you before. Now you can add owing me a new keyboard to the list. ;D That was priceless! Brewer/Peterson 2012 anyone?
FQ13 who is ROFL
PS, note that he learned from his defeat. He kept his booger off the bang switch until he was ready to use it this time. ;D Screw Hillary (er, on second thought, forget Hillary). We should send this guy to Iran to explain to them our response Abejeniadads (sic and I don't care) statement that "We should wait patiently at the table like a well behaved child". He can keep his finger wherever he likes it for that meeting. ;)

There, I fixed it for you. Can't you get your ADHD under control long enough to finish a thought? LOL
Mentioned for laughs by Crusader, who has had a few moments of distraction of his own.

Me thinks if more folks like Peterson, ran out the roaches that currently infest the "beltway", we might be better off.
tw, who still misses tar and feathering....

Well if he is smart enough to keep his booger far away from the bang switch, then there will never be a need to get his booger hook anywhere near it, right? I mean am I right, people?
-ericire12 who is voting for John Mac-Millan so that guy doesnt kick my ass.
