Title: officer involved shooting in leavenworth ks

long time lurker, first post here. just wanted to share what was going on. i am related to the officer involved by marriage, and i am also trying to get a job with lvpd, so this hit pretty close to home. the officer is doing fine. not much info is in the news article as the investigation is ongoing. the full story will be released when it is complete. please keep the officer and his wife in your prayers if you are so inclined. i will tell more of the story when i have it and have the ok to do so.

That's a nice small town too. I lived their as an child from 79'-82'. Goes to show that no place is a safe place.
