My Glock 20 arrived yesterday (about a week late). Waiting for the early-summer Oregon rainstorms to clear up before range day. I'm trying to get some powder and bullets together for when my dies arrive from Midway. Anyone have a favorite bullet, powder, or loading for the 10mm? Any 10mm stories? Share some pics of your big 10 while your at it! (Darn me for loaning my camera to a friend! lol)

Porn, range reports and porn! Did I mention porn? I know, a Glock is a Glock and its like naked pictures of a fat chick, still, you gotta respect the G-20. I had my choice of that or a G-17 back in '93. Same money. I took the 9mm. I still always think that boy, I wish I had that ten. I've never been able to justify buying one (due to ammo costs and availability as I don't reload), but damn they are a great gun. Have fun and I wish you the joy of it. ;D

I fell in love with the 10mm long before the 45.The 45 is a proven man stopper, but not so much for big game, nor is it legal to hunt with in my state. The 10mm is legal and effective. I had a black bear incident while bowhunting, now the 10mm is with me when I enter the woods, hiking etc. It is also my carry gun. People who can not handle the recoil of any caliber do not shoot enough.Alot of limp wristed fairys carrying 380's these days. I use alliant power pistol and hornady xtp 180gr bullets running as hot as safely possible in my glock 20 and 29 with tru-glo fiber optic/tritium sights
Welcome to the 10mm family. ;)

I have had and still have one, a S&W 610 with 5.5" barrel, shot like a laser with .40 S&W and 10mm, but my M29 beats it, now my Glock 20 started off as a pig, and now is coming to roost as a good shooter with 15rd capacity, I use Imr800X, the best powder for very hot loads, and mine are nuclear, and I will not publish them. All loaded with brand new components, and I have Bomar sights installed. 10mm is a great round, but not as good as a .44mag, but the extra rounds count for something. The 165grn gold dot at the moment seems the bullet of choice, although the 180 - 200 grns are showing promise. I have the Nosler 135's going 1700 fps, and they recoil the worst.

Tom Gresham supposedly has a 1911-styled 10mm pistol in the works. According to what he says on his Gun Talk radio show, all one needs to do to show interest is send an email message with 10mm in the subject line to him at guntalk.com. He says they figure the going rate will be around $1500.

Don't have the money at the moment but almost bought a Glock 20 on credit at the gun show this weekend in Pasadena. It will probably be my next purchase.

that is just unfair I think you need to sent one to Aust to see what the Police would think of that
seeings just not that long ago have effectively want to ban the 338 lap, 408 chay, 375 chay, .50mbg and the FN-FiveSeven ( not that I know of any in aust for the FN )

Count me in.
I'm a closet 10mm fan. I've got a build project on the back burner as I type this.

8) Love 'em.....I've carried several (Glock, S&W, Springfield Omega) into bad places where people shoot back. HIGH confidence in the round.
Having said that, range ammo got hard to find and expensive to boot back in the late nineties, so I "compromised" back to the .45....

I love my G-20 and already sent Tom email. Been shoot my 9s lately, but just got 400 cases for reloading. ;D
