Greetings - does anyone have any first-hand experience with the Barrett 468 that you would care to share?
Thanx

I'd like to hear it to. And Michael, what do you know about the piston version that's supposed to be at SHOT?

Those armalites are beautiful, but we weren't talking about the Barrett .50's... The 468 is their AR variant chambered in 6.8SPC.
I agree, though; those would do the job. ;D

SHOWOFF!
(I'm jealous)
Nice rigs.
As for the 468 I always thought it was a bit pricey. Why not just get a 6.8 upper on a regular AR15 lower?
I almost bought a complete upper recently and it was in the 500 dollar range and there are several pretty good manufacturers (I was looking at Stag Arms I believe).

The 468 is to rich for my blood, (Its a Barrett-What do we expect??) but I am looking to get the DPMS 6.8 AR. Under a grand, 2 25 round fac. clips, and a sling. Thats more in my reality. The Barrett looks like a combination of an AR rear and a Sig 556 front stock and barrel.
