Title: Machael Bane is over?
Post by: bbbean on June 18, 2010, 11:52:58 AM: I just looked in the upper left hand corner of my screen and noticed that MB seems to be shooting a gun with optics and a tricked out barrel. Surely he's not playing with one of those evil race guns!?

...just sayin'.... ::) ::) ::)

Post by: m25operator on June 18, 2010, 08:16:20 PM: Race gun or not, I don't have the money to bring my old eyesight back, so unlimited guns are now my curse, if I want to win, other wise I still do ok with irons, but not to my hard earned potential of days gone by. Losing your eyesight sucks, and Michael has substantial damage to his dominant eye. He is shooting a lot of cowboy action shooting and electronic sights are Verboten. At least in CAS the targets are generous and close. ;)

Post by: Michael Bane on June 19, 2010, 09:00:25 PM: Still, I shoot CAS with a "Frontier Walker." When I shoot IDPA, I use a "Combat Walker." When I go to Texas, it's "Walker, Texas Ranger."

"I shoot 3 gun, I like modern guns, grandpa guns are for grandpas." and the incantation seemed to snap me out of a costly mistake but you need to watch you might convert somebody one of these days. >:(

Post by: seeker_two on September 05, 2010, 03:27:37 PM: Sad fact....Michael hasn't done a DR Radio podcast in several weeks....not since that cowboy shoot in mid-August when his Winchester 97 malfunctioned yet again, causing him to have a severe cerebral infarction....since that event, the podcasts have been done by Alf the Wonder Beagle with a voice modulator so as to not panic the Outdoor Channel execs..... :'(

In lieu of flowers and cards, double-barrel shotguns can be sent to Mr. Bane in care of the Outdoor Channel.....
