Can I ask the woman to her face why, if her gun laws are so effective at preventing crime and violence, does she feel the need for an armed security detail? Regardless of her answer, the next obvious question would be: So you are telling me that my life and the lives of my family are less important than yours? That you feel you can take away my GOD given right to protect myself and my loved ones? >:(

I'm honestly not concerned with the woman introducing the bill. I've come to expect hypocrisy from Statists. Frankly I'm surprised she hasn't been offered a position in the Obama Administration.
That last interviewee who claimed to support the 2nd Amendment and proceeded to throw open carry under the bus needs a "come to Zumbo" meeting. I'm sure he'll redeem himself if Uncle Ted helps him out ;D

She thinks we, the average person, does not need access to personal protection tools. She states this while wearing body armor that most of us can not have as well.
If you can make it through the video you will see two things that bother me:
1. One person that states that people that exercise their Rights are bashing law enforcement - The American way is to take personal responsibility and not rely on a nanny state that would have a policeman looking over our shoulder at all times;
2. There is a gentleman that says he is pro Second Amendment, but he is neutral on this issue ??? Pro Second Amendment means you are pro access to arms by private citizens so that we have the ability to form a "well regulated militia."
The combined dumbing down of Americans and an apathetic society will be the death of Free America >:(

Caused may be to much of a leap but they gave them an excuse to move in that direction. The media played right along with it.

I have heard several times that Pelosi has a CCW. Enough times and from enough different sources that I believe it.

They were going to and are going to keep going after your Rights. If citizens legally exercising their Rights is going to get whack jobs like this going there is no hope for you ... Unless you take a stand!
How did the gays and the abortionists get their way? It wasn't quietly sitting back and hiding every thing they wanted and did. They stood right up and stuck it in your face until it was considered politically correct, and a God given right that needed to be protected.
As for me, I called a business owner on their "no guns" sign last month (I have seen the sign for several weeks in my travels and double checked the codes). I walked right up to the dude with the manager tag on and pointed out that his sign did not meet the requirements of the State of Minnesota. I also informed him that because of that there was nothing he could do to stop someone from coming in with a gun. His reply to me was to take my gun back to the car and leave it there. I asked if he could prove I had a gun or if he had seen one. He said no, and I walked into his establishment and went about my business. Was this too brash? Did if flaunt my Rights? Did I offend him and harm our Rights? Tough S***!

M58, my point was, if you piss people off, sooner or latter people are going to make that call and get something out lawed.
That is exactly what happen here. it was not people walking around OCing. it was people making political statement and looking for confrontation. Guess what, they got that confrontation, and it kicked them in the ass.
I've said it many, many times, for every 100 people that OC respectful, that want zero attention... there is always that one ass hat that wants attention. often they want a confrontation with some one... Guess which one people remember?
