It is hot here in Fl., damn hot. The chinos are about to be traded in on shorts. This is where my thoughts turn to kel-tec. I don't like them, but I do trust them. So I am thinking about their little .32. Anyone have a similar sized alternative in either a pistol or revolver? If not, what ammo does the p32 like?

Geez.....Man UP dude! I got a 25 ounce Ruger snub in my pocket and it's been about 95 here all week!
;D
I walk with a limp anyway, no one notices!

Opinions vary greatly on .32 ammo selection, most smart money go's for ball for penetration. How ever, review your short pant selection, I use the L.A. Police gear covert operator pants and short pants, plenty of room for a J frame, D frame Colt or Ruger Sp 101 or LCR. The short pants don't look military or police at all IHMO. Comfortable and inexpensive, lasting a long time too without fading like the 511's did.

FQ, my Kel-Tec 32 feeds either Federal Hydra Shoks or Winchester Silvertips. That's all I've run through it other than ball. Mine doesn't seem to have a preference. I'd go with the Kel-Tec .380 for a little bigger bullet. I carry a J-Frame in my pocket, but then, I don't wear shorts unless I'm swimming.

FQ, I have the P 32 for when I "can't" carry, or as a BUG the rest of the time.
Many times I forget it's in my pocket. I specifically wanted the .32 because of the supply issues with .380.
I have not shot anything but FMJ, I go with M25's smart money.

This time of year I'll wear jean shorts and carry my walther ppks loaded with RBCD. I carry it IWB in a slide holster in the right side small of my back. In cooler weather I;carry my G23 or one of my 1911's.

I've owned lots of Kel-Tecs, live an hour from their plant and have even had friends that worked there so I really hate to say it but none of the Kel Tecs I've owned can match my LCP. I've put 300 or so rounds of a mix of everything, even mixed magazines and never had any issue with the LCP. I carry it in a pocket holster, 99% of the time it's a back-up. Even in shorts and a t-shirt I easily conceal any of my Glocks, Commander sized 1911 or surprisingly what has become one of my favorite carry guns even though it's the cheapest pistol I own, my Taurus PT145 that I got at a pawn shop for $236. It out-shoots my Glock 30 and is lighter and smaller. 10+1 rds of .45 that I can wear comfortably on my ankle and disappears in a IWB rig. I've got other carry guns that I have more money in spare mags or leather than I have in the PT145 but I carry it more than anything. Another plus is if I have to use it I don't loose a high priced pistol for months, I just get another. I almost picked up another on gunbroker yesterday as a spare but the bid went to $262 and I had a high of $250 since I'm so spoiled by the deal for the first one.

If you go with .32FMJ, then make sure you buy a quality foreign-made ammo like Fiocci or S&B....it tends to run hotter than the usual American-made stuff....and is sometimes cheaper to boot....

My P3AT eats anything I feed it and has from day one.

Mine as well.
LCP put a slide lock on theirs, as to not "steal" too much from Kel-Tec. Otherwise, they are practically identical.
Prefer the .380, as a mouse round, however, .32 ammo has really evolved into a "3 to 5" round.
That's what these "leetle" pistols are for,..... 3 feet to 5 feet, in your face threat.
