Hopefully this will be the last hurrah. Pass a face saving ordinance that they know will lose. It keeps the base happy, who cares if it delays people excersising their rights and costs millions? Its all about never admitting you were wrong. >:( Still, we can hope they are pragmatic enough to let it go with this. However, the anti-choice folks weren't. Ultra-sound, 24 hour waiting periods, SPOUSAL CONSENT :o, counciling etc. The statist zealots will never accept defeat and admit they can't run your life for you. We've won the war, but we'll be fighing insurgents and dead enders for the next twenty years. >:( FQ13

I was so pissed off by Chicago's reaction that I deliberately strapped on my revolver when I went out to clean the yard. (I did get a wierd look by someone driving by when I left out the garage door.)
I say if Chicago wants to do this, Bring IT! We're going to knock down all the silly/stupid restrictions in one fell swoop.

I thought It was bad here in COMMIEFORNIA, they want us to register the ammo we buy. Heck at least I can buy and take home my handguns with little red tape. OOP's I forgot they want us to register our long guns now. >:(

in IL, you can't even touch a gun with out a FOID card.

Its like minded gun owners like us that fight for our rights, while the lazy good for nothing other half just allow the shit to happen. I mean how hard is it go out and vote. In this country we have the right to choose who is in office and what policies we want to changed for the better.
