also tried out a suppressed .22 rifle. WOW! not much difference... still loud. did get to witness the effects of the suppressor fouling up and causing problems with accuracy.

7.62 NATO

5 round internal magazine, but they have been through so much sand over the years that we loaded 1 round at a time to prevent any probs. (the area is VERY arid and dusty).

the Army is obligated to give civilian groups (militias) access to the arms and a certain amount of ammo for practice in case Chile ever decides to kick our ass again.  :o

Those will work great against M-16s. I hope you live up to your screen name if that ever occurs.

Looks practically identical to my Argentine Mauser, caliber is 7.65x54 though. Stripper clips, accurate, and quite a kick.

Looks like the recovery area is well stocked. ;D

I'm sure the Red Stripe is hiding somewhere. Have a great 4th deepwater!!!!

Hey guys, probably won't be around the rest of the day. already digging into the beer (Pilsen Callao) and firing up the grill. don't think I'll be in any condition to post anything from now on. ;D
