It is much easier to treat the symptoms than it is to treat the cause.

Wait this is CNN right? Oh I get it....they have to let some opposite opinions in so it appears they are fair and unbiased. But dang, you think they'd wouldn't pick such a good one.

"Look at all these guns who shot people..." Mayor Daley
That simple statement sums it all up. It's the gun's fault those people got shot. I don't know how many times I have had to put my Glock on restriction because it was sneaking out at night and doing goodness knows what. I have to keep my AR locked in a safe just to keep it from sneaking out and shooting my Vietnamese neighbors (it has some Vietnam-era parts and suffers from suppressed memories and PTSD).
What amazing idiocy is regularly demonstrated by the looney left...
Sheesh!
Offered as comment by Crusader, who is simply amazed that he is not MORE amazed at this sort of stupidity...

CR, if they weren't DA's to begin with they never would have bought the liberal BS.

The solution is becoming clear to me. Do not BAN the guns. They are likely from troubled backgrounds. We need to work on rehabilitation programs for them. Teach them respect and self confidence and return them to society as useful members.

They obviously need to be "empowered" !
Perhaps a sensitivity enhancing "encounter session" is in order ?
That really sounds like a good idea ;D
