Yes, I'm shopping. I got a little cash to burn through and am probably gonna try to find a cheap plinker (probably a .22) or maybe a cheap project gun. Dont know what yet, but the shopping is half the fun.
So what is on your want to buy list???

1911 or Winchester model 70 in 270. More than likely the 1911 so I can write it off on my taxes for work purposes. With holster an magazines and magazine pouches. ;D

I was discussing something like this with a friend last night. Although I have everything I need, I would really like, for old times sake, a European (i.e without the Montreal or Portugal slide markings) fixed sight FN/Browning P35 in poor cosmetic shape.
This may have to be some way 'down the road' as I have a vacation to pay for soon, but if anyone sees one for sale I'd appreciate a 'heads-up'

Okay, I too have some money to burn.....well we don't have any spare money, we're in debt from the Alaska trip, but the deal was if she bought "bling" I got guns.....so tomorrow afternoon I think...

And it only took lots of frustration, a trip back to Sig and about 5000 miserable rounds until it started to work! ;D

No real guns on the list, but an ANPVS4 night vision scope and a high quality suppressor, probably a surefire and hope my buddy there can get me some kind of deal. Build a short barreled AR, 8-10". I do think a short barreled AR might be were a piston system might shine.

Found a range that rents the G26, SA XDSC 9mm and the S&W MP SC 9mm. Hope to try all 3 and then decide. Just picked up a lightly used Para P16 Limited with 5 mags and several upgrades (guy got rid of the plastic stuff) for $450! Shoots great but not 100% until I find a OAL load it likes (waiting for components).

Just got a Rossi .357 lever 20" in stainless... So the lust in my heart and the money in my wallet are all gone for the moment. When (if) they each build up again, I'd like something in a stainless .357 snubby--and that will probably end my long-standing affair with my Glock 27. I have no idea why I am converting from semi-auto to revolver, but I think the .357 snubby wants to be my new carry piece. It just hasn't met me yet.

I had to retire back in april due to health concerns and my brother and his family moved in with us because he had a severe stroke,my son,daughter and son in law are living here also .my daughter and her hubby with be moving into their own home with in the coming month and my brother and his family will be moving sometime in sept when his disability kicks in.with only one paycheck supporting everyone things are stretched pretty thin right now.however when i can swing it i have my eye on two,an sr9c and a compact kimber.i'm planning on selling 3 guns (fnh 45 usg,kel tec pf 9 and a rossi snub ) to buy the kimber,all are good reliable weapons but i rarely shoot them and think i'll get more use out of the kimber since i seem to shoot a 1911 style pistol better.i want to replace the pf 9 with the sr 9 c because of capaity and i like rugers.i only have one ruger at this time,a security 6 with the 4 inch barrel and would like to add another ruger or 2 to my collection.

Well, I'm still in survival mode so this is all wishful thinking, but....
1. A Sub compact 45 1911- Para, Kimber, something along those lines.... or maybe the Kahr instead, but I like 1911s.
2. A CZ 97B just for the fun of shooting MORE 45. I have fondled them a couple times and MAN I want one!
3. A CZ Rami 9mm... not sure if I want the all metal or the composite frame- comp frame has higher capacity and it would probably be a "lighter carry" piece.
4. Another full size 1911 in Stainless, Nickel, or Chrome.
5. AK47
6. An AR to turn into an erector set.
7. 44 Mag revolver
8. 44 mag lever action rifle.
That would hold me for a while.

What is insidious in this hobby is that, no matter how many guns I have in the collection, there is always a long list of others that I want.
I think it is driven by why you buy guns. If hunting deer and pheasants are the primary purposes, you could be pretty well served by 1 or 2 rifles and 1 or 2 shotguns. Any new wants are likely driven by big changes in technology. If you are an African big game hunter, you could get specialized gun for different classes of beast. If history and/or a fascination with the mechanics/artistry/variations of the piece are you interests, you can easily create a never ending list.
Here's my current wish list. Case in point == I hadn't updated this for several months and had to delete 3 that I've recently bought. But I added about 6 more that have recently caught my fancy.
High Priority
• Marlin 1895SBL, .45-70
• Ruger Mk III Target, 22 LR (so my son can “officially” take my Mk II)
• Springfield Armory XD9 Sub-Compact, 9x19mm
• Ruger Blackhawk, .357 Mag
