Been one of those odd summers in the N. East. We had four twisters the other day. Three in down east Maine and another in NH. Pretty rare for the area.
-
Now they are saying 2 in NH, I forget where, I was pretty doped up at the time ;D

Sorry, missed all of the excitement at freakin' MIDNIOGHT on the forum!
Go to bed.
Just got back from a fast 3-day trip to Chi-town to see my son and pick up nearly 40 - let me repeat that - FORTY - boxes of my stuff from 30 years ago that my ex swore up one side and down the other that she didn't have. Some crap, old Playboys and other magazines, some valuable, like some sterling silver from my folks' ancestors. Tossed a couple of boxes before leaving, brought the rest up north, just got home an hour or so ago.
Hit Chicago Friday evening during a miserable, nasty storm, knocked power out for miles (thankfully) north of my motel. But we did lose internet, hosted in the power out part of the city.
Had a a chance while down there to hook up with a friend, and had a wonderful dinner at one of my favorite restaurants from my time down there - Tuscany in Oak Brook.
Don't wake me if there are people in the forum at midnight tonight. I'll find out tomorrow.

I'm assuming you followed I-90 west through Minneosta? In which case I'm deeply offended that you passed within 35 minutes of my house and said NOTHING until AFTER the fact!! ;D

" If I'm here, and your here, doesn't that make it OUR time? "
Jeff Spicoly discussing "time" with:
Mr. Hand, Fast Times At Ridgemont High.
