Ohh possibly an HR999?  One of the original 9shot revolvers.    I'd be happy to get that back.

Yep.  .22LR double-action. My dad and older brother had the 6-shot single actions. Not the best quality. I wanted the 9-shot but changed my mind when my dad's frame broke.

Back in the 80's, my dad had a 10/22 returned to him after police found it in the trunk of a gang member's car in East LA. It had been stolen 12, or 13 years earlier.

My dad had an unfired Republic arms patriot that was stolen from us that he got back. It was filthy when he got it back. Had a Taurus 450Ti stolen once. I hope I get it back some day.

It never stated that it was a .22, but I do believe that Harrington&Richardson were the most prominent makers of a 9shot in .22!

I happen to have, in my collection, a 7shot H&R in .22! (wish I could find a friggin' hammer for it!)
