I haven't been around for a couple of weeks. I have been attending to family affairs. My Mom (91-years young) passed away in her home on July 15. She lived on her own and still drove her car. She was an inspiration to us all.
Unfortunately, now the sibling squabbling has begun.

Sorry for your loss WM..
God Bless in her journey..

Very sorry for the loss of your Mom. She will continue to be an inspiration, the sibling squabbling needs a cool head to prevail, and you fit the mold for that WatchMan,
Take Care, let us know if we can help in anyway.

Sorry for your loss. Mom tried to keep the squabbling from happening but it didn't work. Good luck to you and yours.
God Bless,

What they said.

Sorry to hear both these things.
I've been so disgusted by the way my relatives acted in these circumstances that I haven't had anything to do with most of those vultures since '73.

GOD BLESS & GoodLuck with the kin.Handle them the way she would.

Sorry to hear about your mom. Just hang in there and things will slowly, but surely, improve. My prayers are with you.

Watchman, so sorry to hear about your loss. It may not be this way for some, but losing my mom was the worst. I have to say though, that as the years go on I still feel her with me and I feel her love, and I hope it's the same for you. Chin up with with family, they'll come around or walk away.

Sorry for your loss WatchMan. Things WILL get better, and the squabbling will subside.
-
Thanks for the support and prayers. BTW - My Mom would have kicked them in the ass. She was straight shooter and a strong willed woman.
-
Condolences for the loss of your mom, Watchman.
Best wishes for the squabbling to subside and for y'all to get on with being a family.

Can't say anything other than "Sorry!" The rest have covered it well.
I will stop in again one of these days.
Take care!

Watchman, we all know it's the inevitable conclusion for our parents (for us, as well). Yet, even when we know it's coming it is still painful to experience that loss. That pain is only increased when family squabbles begin. You have my sympathy in what you now have to deal with. I am deeply sorry for your loss. Do your best to be the "solid one" with a rational eye as you oversee all that happens next.
