Very interesting indeed.  I would have to agree with Dr Phares that we need to identify our enemy and that Romney is unfortunately the only one who has verbally shown he "gets it."  McCain is a fast read though and hopefully would get the right idea fast enough.  Unfortunately both would strip the US of its ability to respond to an immediate local threat (armed citizens able and willing to defend themselves when the threat appears).
