That's why they hate us so much, they are aware that they could not be responsible with a fire arm and they either assume we are as messed up as they are, or they resent the fact that we show far more self control than they can.

Goes back to the difference between a conservative and a liberal. If a conservative doesn't want to own a gun, he doesn't buy one. If a liberal doesn't want to own a gun, they don't want ANYBODY to buy one.
