It would certainly look better than the beer stains and ground-in cheez-whiz we have now. ;D
-
Now that would hid everything!!!
You could smell the dead varmints laying around but you would have to trip on them to find them. ;D

And here I thought I had done them quite artfully!
;D

Carpet??? I don't see no steenkin' carpet. ;D
-
On the one hand, you might be a redneck if.....
On the other, the more dirt you track on it, the better it gets. ;D

You'd never have to vacuum! ;D
I can see Cabela's stocking this stuff.
Dude! This stuff would be good for Upholstering a homemade deer stand. Do deer like that new carpet smell? ;D

We don't vacuum now unless "Mom" makes us. ;D
-
Yeah, but now she wouldn't be able to tell if we have or haven't! ;D

so a bloke comes home from hunting, knackered he stumbles through the door rips of his camo and can never find it again and has to buy more.
Camo carpet sounds expensive to me and dangerous, you wouldnt be able to see all those camo trousers on the sky hooks.

Indeed, you would lose all your 'tactical' stuff. Case in point, I found these little browning led keychain lights. They are plenty bright and really solid. Just like a mini-mag but smaller than a tube of chapstick. But they are cammo! WTF? How will you find the damn thing when you drop it on the carpet, or anywhere out side? ;D
FQ13 who wishes someone were smart enough to start making this stuff in marine yellow or blaze orange

Just leave it turned on all the time, DUH!! (I'm in touch with my inner blonde at the moment) ;D
Bring it on, Teresa, you don't scare me!! Yes ma'am, the corner it is. I'm sorry.

I bet I know what the next remodeling project is at MB's house. ;D
-
Why not just have a dirt floor? ;D

Why not just have a dirt floor? ;D
That'd be like taking a couple of cans of brown and tan Krylon to $10 Salvation Army OD field jacket rather than dropping 2 bills for one in the latest digital cammo. Don't be absurd! ;D

Hell, that probably is MB's house. :D

Why not just have a dirt floor? ;D
Cause it attracts scorpions and rattlesnakes! DUH! ;D Seriously......

Been there, done that.
Does the phrase "Seemed like a good idea at the time" ring any bells ?
Maybe Alarm bells ? ;D
Might work great in the south west, sux in New England.

You got floors in New England? :o
Not what the arkansas people say! :P or is that the other way around? ;D
-
That would work great in a rent house the last tenants trashed.

I have been considering an invention.
Wall to Wall carpet on a big roll. It would work like the old cameras with roll film.
You have a feed roll on one side of the house and a take up roll on the other side.
When the carpet gets dirty, just feed a new house full by winding the dirty part onto the take up roll.
When you use the roll up, you get a new feed roll, attach it to the end of the old roll and feed in the first clean section.
Send the old roll off to the factory for cleaning and rehab.
Some spin off technology would be gizmos attached to the ceiling to hoist all the furniture a few inches off the floor for the winding.

We say it about them, although we usually just put a hand to our ear and ask "Do I hear Banjo's ?, is that cousin Dad ?" ;D
I like Solus's idea though ;D
