Title: Ute (AKA TRUCK for US types!) design! What would you include?
Post by: sledgemeister on August 16, 2010, 08:30:47 AM
Well if you answered option 3 it seems your prayers have been answered by Chrysler. (some times I hate you yanks  :P )
If you answered any of the others GET YOUR DAMN PRIORITIES RIGHT - (apart from answer 4  ;D )

Check this out, I want one!

Quote
Chrysler's Ram truck division is taking direct aim at hunters with a unique feature on its new line of Outdoorsman pickup trucks
 - a gun closet.

Called the The Mopar RamBox Holster, its a rack that can hold two rifles or shotguns inside one of the lockable, watertight compartments located on either side of the pickup bed.

A $205 option - on top of the $1895 price of the RamBox feature itself - the rack can be rotated to hold six fishing poles for those who prefer quieter trips into the great outdoors.

The Outdoorsman starts at $28,350 and includes standard features like scratch-resistant bumpers, puncture-resistant tires, and a towing package. Buyers can order the trimline on most Ram models, including heavy duty and long wheelbase versions.

And the fact that it's one of the government's car makers.

If it was you'll never get him to admit it out loud.  The boy didn't get to this age by being stupid, after all.  He knows he's gotta sleep sometime.

By the way, you need to add "All Of The Above" to our list of choices.  Just sayin'.  ;D

It only holds 4 guns? Well, It's a start, I guess.

There should be a concealed carry version, with a universal holster mount in the console.

Don't forget to include some kind of V8 fusion / hydrogen / propetual motion drive device to end our dependance on theiving oil companies.  And it's gotta have a big "3" painted on the door!!! ;)

FYI chrysler is owned by Cerberus Capital Management. If that doesn't ring a bell perhaps some of Cerberus' other companies do. Bushmaster, Remington, DPMS Panther Arms, silencer manufacturer Advanced Armament Corporation, Marlin through Remington. Can we say "free gun with the purchase of a pickup."

I want one that's red white and blue.  OR that's yellow and has a big ol' rattle snake on the tailgate.  Kind of takes the gun-toting, pick-up driving hick to an all new level

Freedom Group, as it's been named for the last couple years or so, (also the name the stock is traded under ) has not Owned Chrysler or GMAC since the Govt. take over.
They also own at least one ammo manufacturer, and Blackhawk.
