From Tom Selleck as Covington in "Crossroad Trail'
Post gun fight, two men down. A young admirer says;
"That was some shooting".
Western, Gary Cooper type pause
"That wasn't shooting, that was killing".
Selleck is the man. Right up there with "I said I never had much use for one. Not that I didn't know how to use one".
FQ13 who's cable is on the fritz and iis only getting bits of the flick. >:(

If you like Selleck you definitely need to see him in "Stone Cold." It was a made for TV movie (I think there are three or four more in the series) but it is really quite good. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0431420/ (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0431420/)
There is a scene where he is describing shooting a machete wielding suspect that goes something like this:
Girl: Couldn't you just shoot him in the leg or something?
Jesse:You only have a split second to react. You aim for center of mass and hope you don't jerk the trigger.
