;D This was just too gawdy not to share. Sorry folks.
You can see and read more at: [url][/http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1304465/The-men-golden-guns-Mexican-museum-displays-vulgar-array-weaponry-confiscated-drug-lords.htmlurl]

There's, I don't know, something about drug lord Hector Gamboa carrying around a Poncho Villa commemorative 1911 I can't quite put my finger on. Irony doesn't cover it.

I have an absolute love for 1911's engraved and smothered in Nickel and Chrome. I guess I need to become a drug dealer to afford one.
I am happy you shared these.
I know there is no tactical value to these and all that crap. But man, wearing a one of these (maybe not so much the mexican theme lol but you get the point) in beautifully carved leather holster on a warm summer Sunday evening, holding a plate of BBQ'd pork, baked beans, and potato salad talking to friends and neighbors about the upcoming fall\winter Deer season would just scream HOME. America.

I feel just about the same as Ksail101, I like them more than I should.
