OMG!!! :o That 86 Camaro has a cooler full of unopened Budweiser headed for the coast..... :P

Geez, I'm still waiting on un-manned drones to start patrolling our cities...

Does it have a role in our ports, border towns, high value target areas,?  I can see that...but can it be abused and taken to Main Street USA.

and you all laughed at my tin foil hat.... ;D

It can detect (using announcer voice) "low weight atomic elements like carbon, nitrogen and hydrogen, elements used in nuclear weapons". (announcer voice off) Uh, aren't they also common elements in, oh, I don't know, air? ::)  (Announceer voice on): "It can also let you watch teenagers having sex in parked cars, like a porn site only you get paid to watch! Yes, you get paid to detect air and watch topless cheerleaders giving head! Only $250k per unit! Buy now. Your patrol officers will thank you for it. Just ask Sherriff Joe. He's got two already, both  done up in a custom pink paint job. Don't let your department fall behind"! (announcer voice off).  ;D

Sure sounds like you ought to have a court order to use one here in the U.S. However well it might work, airports and such where you agree before you enter, OK. Out on the streets no dice, Ied detection in foreign countries and check points, I'm ok with that. Especially from Mexico.

You're just going on about that silly privacy thing. That's so ::) 20th century. Don't you know our lives are an open book now? Face book, twitter, phone cams, you tube, airport body scanners, GPS phone chips, roving wiretaps? Only an old fart would expect, or even want, privacy. Privacy! ::) Freaking dinosaur! >:(
FQ13 who really does weep for his country. :'(
