Title: Do we have any members here from Manila? or are visiting in the next couple week

As my questions says in the title does anybody member from here reside in the philipines or will be visiting in the next few weeks?
I am jumping on a plane for business next week and would be keen to meet up with anyone resembling human and preferably a gunaholic to have a decent convo and prove that we can solve the worlds problems?
If there is then give me a hoy, or any tips or tricks to surviving in this sweatbox of a place. (apart from dont drink the water LOL)
Will probably be there for about 3 weeks.

I have a few shipmates that live there. unfortunately for you they are all on the ship now. I will ask around though. it sounds like they are very pro gun and it is easy to get ahold of a gun for some range time. the girls are very friendly too....  :D enjoy the time and stay out of trouble...

Probably a good thing deepwater isn't going to the Manila. The re-stocking of good beer is still underway, and won't be right until Fall.

deepwater is currently getting ready to cross the Pacific, Hawaii and then San Diego. hope the 5 gallons of Gin hold up until then.
I know that the beer ain't gonna make it.  :'(
anyway, will get back to you later about Manila stuff. haven't had a chance to ask around

I have a friend from the that place, he said you can't own an AR15, but M16, no problem.

Well I dont wanna buy one when I am there but I would dearly like to go have a play somewhere if they allow it.
I looked at one cun club HOLY #%#*&# non residents was 100.00 US for 1 pistol and 50rnds of ammo and it was nothing I dont already own! grrrr
I want a uzi or a m16  etc to play with!  ;D

Take a detour to Cambodia. There you can rent Aks and RPGs at the range. And no, Im not kidding. The hot and cold running child prostitutes are extra. Random landmines are free. :-\
