Dear Lord, please protect those folks who are in the path of Hurricane Earl.  Give them the wisdom to evacuate if need be, the supplies to survive the onslaught, and the strength and resources to deal with the aftermath.

Looks like the worst is over and they came out pretty well but haven't heard a lot of details yet.

Prayers worked and Earl turned east of the cape.  We'll get a couple of inches of rain that we need anyway.

Prayers to all in Earls path, but it brought blessed rain and temp reduction here in Dallas, after weeks of 100 + degrees, the last 2 days have been heaven, up to only 90 yesterday, I think today was less, and supposedly tonight will get down to 63, unreal, and most welcome. Tomorrow will only be 83, thanks. I might actually go shoot this weekend.
