I guess I'm a true redneck....I kinda liked the glasses.......wouldn't pay that much for 'em, but I kinda liked them because I like things related to the War between the states.

Ummm, Do you , perchance, refer to that little affray where ,
WE KICKED YOUR BUTTS !!!   ;D  ;D

(Marshal, we really need the little "rolling on the floor" icon  ;D  )

Today is the anniversary of the bloodiest single day in American history, The Battle of Antietam (Sharpsburg ) left 26,000 American Casualties in about 8 hours, and ended Lee's first invasion of the North.

Very true, in the end (and I guess that's all that counts, really), but in a war of attrition, it wasn't so much as a 'skilled' win as it was having more logs to throw into the fire.......  ;D  ;D  ;D
(couldn't help myself)

Yep....that's why I had to throw in the first parenthetical disclaimer......  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D

It was inevitable anyway, even if the south had won...........there would have just been another war later down the road.
