Josh Sugarmann, head of Violence Policy Center, has a Federal Firearm Dealer's license. The business address is VPC's headquarters in D.C.. Which, if I recollect DC law correctly, means VPC is exempt from the handgun ban

IS THIS TRUE?? MB, can you find out?

The answer to both questions is yes. He has one, and he is exempt. Checked the FFL licensing system and read the DC gun law. Mac.

WOW! Talk about HYPOCRISY!

Hey, SOMEBODY has to make money selling guns to all the LEOs in DC, right? So who would the local authorities want to empower if not a like-minded friend? Mac

Do you think he has actually done any business? Or is it a way to get around having a firearm on premises?
Also with VPC being a non profit this would seem to be a "no no".

Haz, he has to make sales, or the license application is fraudulent (not that a DC prosecutor would necessarily indict). An FFL can be held at one multiple business location that are not related to each other, ie. a muffler shop that also has an FFL on site.. His FFL is issued to an individual.

If they lift the D.C. Gun Ban he'll probably make a fortune selling handguns to homeowners. ;D What a hypocritical ass >:(

The Founding Fathers would probably call in an Ebola virus strike on the whole place if they saw what was going on there.
