October's American Rifleman has an article on the Beretta's "Storm" PX4 pistol and CX4 Carbine.
B I G P R O B L E M.
They use different magazines. Duh. Who at Beretta let that slip by?
Are you other manufacturer's listening? Watching?
Springfield Armory could really do this up right. Their 9mm and .40 XD line use the same magazines (except for the witness holes). Imagine if they offered a carbines which used the same magazines. I think people would snap them up.
Just like we talked about with the Marlin Camp 9 and the S&W semi-autos.

Same kind of business practices that put the "big 3" in the place they are now. Complete disconnect between internal departments and their markets.

There is no reason not to make a pistol cal carbine not take pistol mags( and extend versions )

Got to keep you keeping those large "mag organizers" alf, your previous post about having "all those mags", keeps those manufacturers in accessory sales.

Not only do the pistol and carbine use different magazines, the carbine's holds 1 less round?
Someone's nephew was in charge of this one..
