Col. West is in my district, and will have my vote. Met him at the last two gun shows here in Ft. Laud. His district,(not drawn by him), covers a portion of Palm Beach County as well. aka FQ country ;).... The way districts are drawn is a freakin joke. Just ask Pelosi, or Rangel.
The House seats, are a tough nut to crack in entrenched districts, drawn that way for a reason, "rig the game".....
HOPEFULLY, enough voters turn out, act like Americans, and get the incumbents out, give others a try, and try to hit the reset button on the current fiasco.

Actually, its funny you should mention that. He would have my vote if he were in my district. Instead, I get stuck with Alcee Hastings. Still, the way the districts were drawn is illustrative. Its what happens when the GOP makes deals with the left wing of the Democrats. The idea was to create "minority majority" districts which would insure a (Dem) black rep and act as affirmative action. The flip side, was that the white voters had to go somewhere, so the GOP got safe suburban districts. Both parties won at the expense of citizens who naively think that the county should be in the same district rather than divided into 5 parts with its power dilluted, just to serve someone else's political agenda. >:(
