Never been much for that type stuff, but I kinda like them...especially the Jolly Roger. ;)
-
Putting bling on a Glock is like buying a fat girl sexy lingerie. It ain't going to help. ;)

I might be the only person in the world that likes the way a plain Glock looks. Putting bling on one ruins it.
-
Saw a 26 that had been thru the Robar treatment $800+ with factory sights which are useless for me. I'd change the sights and do a .25 trigger job and grind off the D..N finger grooves on a new stock 26 and be good to go.
JMHOFWIW

A friend just had his G19 frame dipped in carbon fiber print coating (like they use to camo hunting rifles). It looked really good. May post pics when I can get them.
-
OK, that is one piece of "bling" for a Glock that I like.
-
For some reason the Yin-Yang graphic appeals to me on a SD Piston...
Just seems like there is some kind of "message" in that combination.
-
I'd want it on the "business end" not the shooter's end...
Either way, if'n I have to use my "bling" Glock to defend myself, after it's impounded pending investigation, I'm sure having a Predator symbol, or Biohazard emblem, will be exploited by an anti-gun prosecutor, that would love to paint me as an NRA, CCW, Tea-Party, Rush Limabaugh, Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, Ronald Reagan, Bible totin' evil Conservative, who probably even admires Dick Ch
eney and Rumsfeld.
-
I'd probably stare at that and forget to look at the sights. ::)

+10. It won't help you and might hurt you. Plus, if you have to use it you're going to lose the gun anyway. A Glock (or M@P, or Kel-tec, or LCP, etc.) is what it is. Me, Id just leave it alone.

Except that it isn't a biohazard emblem.
It's a Mag Pul logo

+1 on what they said.
At first glance I thought. "The Punisher"! Cool! ;)
Just imagin what some attorney would do to you with that in court though!!!
"So as we can all see illustrated here on your weapon you consider yourself "The Punisher"... A vigilanty idol who operates outside the law. So you feel it's your right to be our judge, jury, and excecutioner? Your feel you know better than all of us?"
::)

Yes, and Your Honor should note that I have a better record of being right than you do.

LMAO! ;D
Or maybe. "How very perseptive of you! Now, have you people wasted enough of my time that you can give that back and I can leave? There's a Charles Bronson film festival going on." ;)
-
Are you trying to show CONTEMPT for my Court ? :o
Darn, I thought I was hiding that so well too. :-\
-
DRIFT WARNING ! ;D
The little plate beats the crap out of engraving or Gold plate .

I'm officially jealous. It's one of the times I wish I did have a Glock. Too back I can't get bling for my XD.
Oh, and the legal thing? I'd only put bling on my competition guns, which I don't use for carry. Besides a Walther P99 is quiet elegance and doesn't need bling.
-
Walther's suck, get a real gun,
a S&W. ;D
-
Always mincing words like that, just tell us what you really think!
;)

Do we not see eye-to-eye. I've never been impressed with S&W semi-autos, whether their brand or Walther's. On the other hand I worship their revolvers.
The P99 being German made, of course is a finely tuned piece of machinery.
-
I'm looking at a 26 possibly and maybe an as new gen 1 19 if I can find it again. Lone Wolfe does some cool flames...but not in PINK.

This is what currently passes for bling for an XD/XDm:
It's an aluminum striker spring guide, replaces the little black plastic one on the back of the slide.
I'd say the difference in bling makes the XD/XDm a serious business pistol and the Glocks toys.
Gets his lawn chair, some beer, pretzels, fires up the barbie and sits back to watch the fireworks and some forum members melt like polymer guns tossed in the campfire

We can talk about the Gen 1 G19. I own one with two Clinton Mags. Mine is cherry (owned by a little old lady from Pasadena, actually, lady judge in Palm Beach, but same difference. I'd swear it had no bodies on it, but it was owned by a Florida politician. ;D). No BS, its like new. I'd be interested more in a trade than cash thoiugh, as I'd want more than its worth. I would however, be cheap in a trade if you have something I want. PM me if you are interested.

I'm just yanking your chain Alf, The only Walther's I ever shot were a P-38, I don't like the grip angle at all, and a P-22. No complaints.
And I knew S&W Distributes them now ;D

I like the back plates. ;D

Yeah yeah yeah.
Get the stainless steel guide rod for the Glock, real guns skip the aluminum stuff. :D :D
You can also get a Titanium striker for the Glock Real Guns. Plus other titanium parts.
The titanium striker reduces lock time by a few fractions of a second. I doubted it's usefulness until I did some searches on it and found a guy who had the equipment to sense and measure the movement of the striker within a gun as it was fired.
Don't remember the exact amount of time it cut out, but I do remember his calculation that at SD ranges of 21 feet or under, your bullet will be hitting it's target before the other fellow's left the muzzle, if the sear is released at the same time.
Don't know if that woud make a difference, but it sure seems like it has a good chance to be an advantage

My theory on lighter than factory parts is that you increase the possibility of a light primer strike when you start going with "Commander style hammer's or Titanium parts (Ti is lighter than steel ).

I don't think there is much difference in weight from a standard 1911 hammer and a commander hammer...... because it's not that there is more metal missing from the commander but that it has just been reshaped.
Next time I have a couple apart, I'll weigh them and see.
Here is an interesting exchange on the subject:

Comes with a heavier striker spring.

I don't want anything on the back of my pistol that could cause my eyes to drift from the target/sights. I could see this drawing your eyes away inadvertently just from the contrast of color.
