Sorry I haven't been around lately, :-[ things have been busy. :P On the upside I have been out shooting several times, including my first go at IDPA (which was awesome). This morning I was checking things out on FB this morning and I came across a link that gave you instructions on how to create a ring tone in I-Tune's 10. You can check it out for yourself here. http://www.cultofmac.com/make-your-own-free-ringtones-in-itunes-10-in-nine-easy-steps-how-to/58047?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+cultofmac%2FbFow+%28Cult+of+Mac%29 (http://www.cultofmac.com/make-your-own-free-ringtones-in-itunes-10-in-nine-easy-steps-how-to/58047?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+cultofmac%2FbFow+%28Cult+of+Mac%29)
I always wanted to make a copy of Uncle Ted's - "I am the NRA" for a ring tone. So with these instructions I created 3 versions. Their just under a 1MB ea. so I can't attach them here. If you have an I-Phone or something that will accept .m4r. format type ring tones, message me and I can e-mail you a copy. Personally, I'm a wee bit stoked about having "I AM THE NRA" coming from my phone every time it rings! ;D ;D ;D ;D The other two versions are from "the Constitution" and "the Shot" segments of the song! Now I just wish I could get the phone to play a different version each time the phone rang! ::) ;D

What kind of pistol did you shoot in IDPA? Bill T.

I took out the M&P9, faired pretty good for the first time. I was 26 out of 48 total competitors and 10 out of 18 in the SSP Div. I'll try again in 2 weeks and around Thanks Giving I hope to shoot the Classifier. Next time though I'm going to try shooting my M&P9c which has the Big Dot sight on it. I've not had very good luck at distance targets with that sight in the classes I've taken so if I have any problems with it at the next IDPA match, I'm going to take them off and put on a set of fiber optic night sights I bought last month.

Make it a priority Bill! In total that match cost me $37 to shoot. Including the side match that I shot 3 times, $15 went to the match and 100rds of ammo for 9mm cost me $22. I joined the IDPA last week, that cost $40 for a year, or 3 years for $105 to save $15 over that three year period. You have to be a member to shoot the classifier. Most all of us that carry CCW's on a regular basis have all the necessary equipment (gun, holster, 3 mags w/holder, eye's, ear's, and a concealment/cover garment) the holster can be IWB or OWB as long as nothing can be seen when wearing your cover garment with arms raised, weather that be with a tac-vest, a long shirt, or a regular jacket. Pretty much just like you walk down the street now! It's fairly easy and you get to shoot in ways most of us can't do on a regular basis!

Sounds very cool, and at that rate, I can afford to play. I'll hunt around for local groups. Thanks.

Just remember to keep separate the "Game" aspects, such as going the wrong way, ( toward the threat to get to the next one instead of away to get safety ) from the "practice" aspects, ( trigger, sights, movement and cover. )
Either way it sounds like fun.
