Title: IT WORKS!! Kilo's money-to-noise machine (belt-fed edition)
Post by: kilopaparomeo on October 22, 2010, 01:36:49 PM
Have been waiting to find the time to get the crank installed.  Finally got it in a coupla weeks ago but I couldn't get the beast to run correctly.  After some filing and shaving, then a lesson on what OAL of cartridge the M1919 will feed reliably, I finally took it out at lunch today.

Nobody better TP my house this year....GET OFF MY LAWN!!

Israeli M1919A4 7.62x51mm, Norwegian M2 tripod and T&E

The waves coming off the barrel in the second video was cool. Nice gun, KPR.

That should keep those pesky trick-or-treaters away this year.

Damn! And I thought I had the iguanas on the run. Of course, if my F/A BB gun is a tad loud, I'm sure the neighbors would complain about kilo's. ;D Sweet lord ! Enjoy it before your wife confiscates the visa card. ;D ;D ;D

Yeah, all that South African and Portuguese surplus I bought at $119 for a 1000 round case back about 5-6 years ago won't last forever.  I wish I'd bought 15-20 cases.  Instead, I'm down to about 3 cases.

I do have about 5000 pulled M80 bullets and several 1000 cases.  I can make surplus equivalent rounds for about $0.20 each.

The guys with M-1 A's might be curious about your load.
That way they don't have to rezero when switching from surplus to handloads.
