http://www.theblaze.com/stories/obama-event-shock-union-fires-stagehand-for-wearing-u-s-s-george-h-w-bush-shirt-hat/
Duane Hammet’s son has been serving in the Navy for three years. While at work recently, Hammond was sporting a sweatshirt and hat depicting his son’s ship, the USS George H. W. Bush. “Work” for Hammond is as a union stagehand, and while setting up for an Obama rally in L.A. today, his employer didn’t take too kindly to the name on his clothes.
According to Hammond, and reported by KTLA-TV in Los Angeles, the union asked him to remove his hat and turn his sweatshirt inside-out so that the name “Bush” would not be visible. When he refused, Hammond says he was fired:
Seems the Left is sooooooo "sensitive",...... >:(
Oh, it is so time to hit the "reset" button.

Given that H W (as opposed to the idiot son) is my favorite modern President, I sympathize. However the guy will make more from the lawsuit (if he files immediately) than the job. The hush money to make this go away should be worth a years wages at least, as long as its filed now, with elections a couple of weeks out. :P

Lucky he wasnt tasered and beaten up by security given what I have seen in some videos of people standing up for their rights.

Gettin' old, FQ (who voted for bho). You seem to never be able to let go of your hatred for Pres. George W. Bush, Sarah Palin Karl Rove, and other people, FQ (who voted for bho), and still cannot see the real evil facing you and this country. From now, on, in those rare moments where I acknowledge you directly, FQ (who voted for bho), it will be as "FQ (who voted for bho)". Let's see how long it takes before you get tired of that, FQ (who voted for bho), and then maybe you'll give it a rest.

Whatever Path. The fact is that HW was the first President I voted for when I was 18 in 1988 and the second in 1992. I believed in the guy. He let me down on abortion, but I still think he was the closest to Harry Truman we've seen. He didn't win the Cold War, but he kept a very unstable situation from blowing up in our faces. I think he was a better President than Reagan, just because he was in uncharted waters and navigated them skillfully. I'll stand on the roof tops and scream that. I did (and do) despise W. Unlike you though, I lived with him as governor before he became President. I had the privilege of voting against him four times. Just don't assume its about ideology. I won't be voting for BO again. Its just that sometimes, too much is enough. You make mistakes and you learn. Take it personally if you want, but honestly, I don't see why you feel the need to rally around W.. Reagan yes, W? It would be like a Dem rallying aroud Carter or BO.

FQ, If you were a big enough sucker to vote for Obummer, despite all the negative information available about him, and his own words, (Got to redistribute that wealth, Don't come up with a reasoned reply to "Joe the Plumber" release his personal information to the media ).
Then you are to gullible to have any credibility.
You have already proven you are a fool.

At least I didn't wake up pregnant. :-[ And seriously? McCain-Palin? Because that would have been so sooooo much better.

I'll give you the "sadder" part, and McCain being a loser RINO, but I have strong doubts about the "wiser" part.

FQ, you think Reagan was great and W an ass ? Most of our troubles in Arabia are because of Reagan and Charlie Wilson.
It seemed like a good idea at the time, but with hind sight if we had let the Soviets kick the crap out of Afghanistan then, We would not have to now.

We also wouldn't have had as large a debt as we do either. I think on the whole though, the good outweighs the bad with Reagan. And I do greatly admire HW. Their call in Afghanistan looks bad with hindsight, but it did weaken the Sovs a great deal (a lesson we should remember). Both of those guys were also smart enough to realize that Sadddam was no threat compared to Iran, and left him in power as a check on Iran. Something that W seemed to not consdider when he installed a majority Shiite regime there.Oops.

Saddam was our (sort of ) ally when Reagan was in office.
W was man enough not to keep Saddam around to bomb when he was in trouble the way Clinton did.

Am I to infer from your posts on this thread that you think AlBore was a better choice than W? Or Kerry? Please, don't make me laugh.
As for McCain/Palin.......you say you regret voting for BHO/Biden, yet the vitriole you spew toward McCain/Palin indicates otherwise.
FQ, you of all people should recognize that (unfortunately) all too often the choices we're left with in the voting booth are for the lesser of the evils. Do you REALLY believe that Gore, Kerry and Obama were the better choices (read that "the lesser of the evils) in their respective Presidential elections? If so then you, my friend, are part of the problem.
