Democrats Pressing Obama Not to Run Again
•10-28-2010
•Categorized in: Government, Politics
Share218Some senior personalities in the Democratic Party have discussed with President Obama's advisers the possibility of him not running for re-election in 2012, according to an influential Democratic Party operative speaking on condition of anonymity.
The operative, who is close to the Democratic leadership, did not indicate whether Obama was undecided about running again.
The question is how long or can we turn around the damage he has done in my opinion

By 2012 this guy will be in so deep of a hole, not only will he himself not want to run again, but Hillary will be all but a shoe in for the dems. Hussein is finished, Remember what I said, and hold me accountable for saying it. Every single day this guys Presidency will get worse and worse. His best day was 1/20/09. His worst will be 1/19/13.  Bill T.

Don't be so quick to write him off. The dumb azzes that voted for him in 08 will be  no smarter  in 2012.
That being said, We are better off if Obummer runs against a PO'd populace, no matter how shallow and selfish their motives, than if they put up another "Unknown" that no one hates yet.

I agree with Tom, but I have another fear, as well.  If the GOP makes the gains that are forecast in next week's election, BHO will be rendered impotent, if not irrelevant, for the remainder of his first term.  My fear is that the sheeple have short memories.  I can honestly envision a situation in 2012 where he is re-elected because "he hasn't been so bad" in people's recent memory.

Please let me be wrong.

Agreed, The average voter should be deemed incompetent to manage their own affairs, never mind ours.

You guys are putting way too much faith in this guy. Relax. Everyone thought the world was coming to an end after the last election. Whats done is done. He isn't going to be able to do any more. Don't be like those guys who ran to the gun shops the day after the election. I ran, but I'm always running to the gun shops. I don't need Hussein to send me. Hell, I went yesterday!  Bill T.

It's not the average voter we need to worry about It's the putz who believed and continues to believe the political bovine flatulence the spills from the moths of our "leaders". These are the people who don't think, they just believe the talking heads. All these people want to do is pop a couple pop tops and sit their fat bellys in front of a stick and ball sport on tv and let some one else run their lives blissfully unaware that their being sold down the river. Is this Chi town politician going to be re-elected? You damn right he is. And you can hold ME to that predition.

Its the GOPs fault if he is. I mean who did they put up in 1996? Clinton was vulnerable and they gave us Dole. God knows I don't like W., but he has charisma and was a breath of fresh air against Gore, the wooden boy. He was a fresh start and won. Carter vs Ford, Clinton vs HW? The lesser man won in both races, but they did it by offering (dare I say it, hope and change). The American people were fed up and wanted something new. IF the GOP comes up with an attractive and non-polarizing candidate in 2012, I think they have a very good chance. I'm sure not writing them off. All they need to do is avoid a hack like Romney or a love'em or hate'em figure like Palin.

BHO's head and ego are too big, his "master plan" is too important to go "quietly" back into the Kenyan, Chicago night in 2012. He already used the term "enemies" as those that oppose His agenda......

He'll be there, I hope Hillary cleans his clock, and sends him home early....

At least "W" was a POTUS that loved and respected the country and military, perhaps that's a start for a for a candidate in 2012.

Don't write off this election as won quite yet.

I was wondering why the Dem leaders were so positively passive about this election. Think all of the voter fraud that has surfaced might have something to do with it? Ya know, like in Chicago, the fix is in?

The SEIU controls the voting machines in many of the states - key states - and there have been numerous reports of people selecting Angle and getting Reid instead, or the guy that voted straight Rep only to have it record as straight Dem. The massive violations of the MOVE act in IL and NY, which assclown Holder et al. let go.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. It is worse than we know, and will get worse yet.

This is the only place I see a long, drawn out problem. A lot of these races are tight in predominately democratic states, counties, and precincts. The dems have always been as crooked as drunk gypsies when it comes to running elections. Chicago is a good example. The outcome of many of these races could easily wind up like the whole Franken / Coleman deal in Minnesota last election. When it looks like they're going down for the count, the dems will lie, cheat, and steal there way to a victory. Any victory, any way they can possibly obtain it. Election officials in these precincts had better be looking up these peoples asses with a microscope. Having ACORN shut down is a big help, but in no way a cure all.  Bill T.

Heard of that too. I noticed yesterday, as I was voting, that this year Georgia has the machines set without a straight ticket option. You have to select each one individually and then at the end it re-displays all your selections for final approval before you hit the "cast ballot" button.

We still use a paper ballot with a pencil here in NH.

No, we are nothing like the "average voter", The fact that you are reading and posting in this thread shows you are a "nonstandard" voter. We are the ones politicians hate, we make an effort to be informed.

Here's a little example that you can duplicate for yourself to show what an incompetent azzhole the "average voter" is. Every person I've talked to that voted for Obummer I have asked Why ?  They immediately either start an anti W diatribe like FQ does, or they out right say, "Because he wasn't Bush.".

Who were those candidates in 08 again ?  I'm getting old, but as I remember it, the Republican candidate was named McCain.
And he was a Screaming Rino who could never be expected to continue George W's policies.
His last claim to fame before the election was being excoriated  ( Cussed at  ;D  ) for trying to push through an amnesty of aliens.
His "campaign finance reform Bill" didn't address one cent of campaign finance, instead , it was a brazen attempt to muzzle popular opinion.

53% of these dumb shits voted against some one who wasn't even in the race.
