It's getting down to the wire. Make sure you vote tomorrow. Make sure your neighbors vote. Let's get some real change we can believe in for a change.

I'll vote tomorrow.
I'm telling my neighbor it's been postponed till weds.
If they still believe the Dems BS they will believe anything.

Voted last week.
A friend's mom who was working at the polling center said they were averaging 300 to 500 per day (heavy for our area).
-
I was sent an absentee ballot, even though I never requested one. I am going to my regular polling place tomorrow. I have a hard time trusting whether my "envelope" could end up in a dumpster, etc,... Researched Judges, City Comm's, Florida Amendments, and wrote them down on a sheet of paper.
Let's VOTE Folks, it's time to keep this country a REPRESENTATIVE REPUBLIC!!!!

Good advice TW. Its a long ballot here in Fl.. Lots of propositions (which I hate because the legislature should do its damned job and take the consequences), and things like judges and local offices. A cheat sheet is key so you don't forget stuff. I would highly advise it if you live in a state with a long ballot. It also moves the line along a lot quicker. Your neighbors will thank you. ;D

I took my wife and voted Saturday.
We weree getting 300 to 500 a day early voters as well in Charlotte County, Florida.
Unlike FQ, I like voting on the props. They affect me so I should have my say in them. :)

My beef with them is that they often involve technical issues. The voters don't have enough info to make an informed choice. Legislators have committee staff and hearings to figure out the nuts and bolts. We just get yard signs and 30 second adds. I elect a delegate that I trust to research the issue and make a well informed choice. I, for instance, can't give you a cost benefit analysis of requiring a referendum to approve variances to a community development plan. All I know is what the developers and environmentalists tell me. I don't trust either one. I'd as soon let the the legislature do its job on stuff like this and then hold them accountable for the tangible results. Just my .02.

from FQ:
The voters don't have enough info to make an informed choice.
That is by design, and part of the problem. Keep the electorate focusing on American Idol, getting high, living their lives, while thes "nuts and bolts" of real money and political policy sneak through.
This has to stop. I guess that's why voting, originally, was designed for male property owners. Than changed.
The lazy sheeple that play no part in political elections, are as useless as tits on a boar, and deserve the old addage:
Don't Vote? Don't Bitch!
