Grayson goes bye-bye.....Crist goes bye-bye.
Allen West wins. Rubio wins. To be continued....

Cheers to West! I'd have voted for him if he were in my district. As to the rest? Scott is a criminal. That's never a bar to being the Governor of Florida mind you, but still, if he stole millions of taxpayer dollars as a private citizen, God knows what he'll do while in office. As for Crist? I'm kind of old school. Call me an Eisenhower Republican or a JFK Democrat. Blue Dog or RINO, I'll accept the label either way. I'm socially liberal, fiscally conservative and a hawk on the border and defense. I like Charlie. I voted for him and I'm not sorry for it. I hope Rubio does well. Still, I am sad to see a political system where your options are Palin or Pelosi. I'd choose none of the above, but apparently moderates need not apply these days. :-\

Wear your flip-flops in tribute to Crist FQ. That's what happens when you have NO principles, and to quote Bob Dylan.....
"Go which way the wind blows".....

As for Crist?
He may have BEEN a good guy, but came across as a weaseling b@stard when he switched to I, and even moreso with the talk of pressuring the D to drop out. Glad his numbers tanked in the last week, should have gone lower. Waffles are for breakfast.

I just checked the unofficial results and the Democrats won almost everything here. :'(

Not here in ND -
Pomeroy *D) - Gone! Replaced by State Rep. Berg *R)
Dorgan (D) - Gone! - retired, and an R (Governor Hoeven) replaces him

Now, pray for Scott.

WOW! You really are a kool aid drinker! Scott was never indicted, never charged, never convicted and the Grand Jury has stated that Scott was NOT the subject of the investigation!
Sounds real criminal to me! ::)

They must all be masochists in that state. They keep voting democratic and the whole place is turning into the economic toilet of the country. Do they all like being poor? Look at Detroit. They haven't voted in a Republican mayor in that city since 1961. You can buy a house for under $10,000.00, but no job to keep the lights on. Yet they keep pulling the "D" lever? I put all of these idiot's in the same class as the ones who reelected Marion Berry in D.C. They deserve everything they DON'T get. Bill T.

And FQ boinks under age male donkeys while stomping on pink kittens There is exactly as much evidence for THAT statement.
How 'bout we call you a flip-flopping, lukewarm Non-Decider with no backbone? Now, there's solid evidence for THAT statement!
Offered for discussion by Crusader who has a solid understanding of his position, his philosophy, his morals, and his faith--and who ISN'T lukewarm about any of it!

How about we just call him a Liberal who will get the govt. he deserves,.

So because you are not one thing or the other, I will have no more to do with you.

Frank, Maybe in your neck of the woods in Michigan, but overall Michigan is now very red. All statewide offices went Republican, along with the senate and a super majorityy in the house. Picked up several U.S. house seats. I briefly saw a map on Michigan on the news and I think the only blue county was Wayne County (Detriot). There were several purple, including a couple in the Upper Penninsula.
BillT, they can't even sell the foreclosed houses in Detroit at almost no cost. I read awhile back, that they were bundeling them together and can't even get bids. They keep pulling the "D" lever, cause the "D"s give them everything they want.
My gut feeling is that 2012 is going to be Blue again in Michigan, because in order to turn the state finances around, some very painful cuts are going to have to be made.
Nationwide the Republicans gained over 500 elected state offices. This is a big plus for the redistricting coming up.
I just hope that the 2010 election mass murderer becomes a serial killer in 2012.
-
Only 5 counties voted for the D governor candidate. Mine was one of them. I'm glad the rest of the state voted R.

What is that? Poverty, low real estate prices, no jobs, crime and drugs? That entire state is totally insane. Bill T.

You just answered your own question, Bill.
-
Half the population of Michigan lives in the Detroit metro area. They're insane. The rest of the state is mostly normal.

It is much the same in Illinois, where I am originally from. The Chicago Metro area, along with the democratic "Machine" that runs it are completely off the rails. Poverty exists on a grand scale in the inner city, along with all of the crime, drugs and gangs that are most everywhere. Overpriced entitlement programs exist for the extremely high minority population that literally feeds off of them, with no incentive to achieve anything on their own when they can have it handed to them, or sell drugs to get it. The result is low real estate values, destroyed neighborhoods, horrible public schools, a crime rate that is off the chart, and all the rest that goes with a minority catering, democratic government. And they just keep on voting them in. Year after year, election after election.
They have forced out any and all whites from these areas, and there is absolutely no pride anywhere displayed by the way these people live. Unemployment is always 10 points above the national average, regardless of what it is. It's the same thing in California in the Los Angeles area. It is why Barbara Boxer won by over 10 points. She is one of the biggest entitlement spenders in Congress. Come election day and out come the minorities in droves to vote her back in to keep the freebie train rolling. All of this in spite of the state being bankrupt. This will no doubt cause the long term destruction of this country. We've seen it with Hussein. Yes, the people rallied against it in this election. But it is a warning sign of things to come when these people gain control of all of our largest inner cities, simply because they all breed like rats, and that is where all of the population resides. That is not "racist", but rather fact.
Once the scales finally tip their way we are finished as a country. We will descend into the same abyss Mexico, and a great many of the African nations have descended into. There will be no return simply because there will be no educating these people to allow themselves to live with any pride or affluence. If that could be done, they would have done it by now. They haven't and they won't. Sooner or later there will be some type of "immigration reform" passed. That will be the straw that will finally break the Camels back. It won't be "reform" of any kind. It will be a non stop influx of minorities that will sink this country once and for all. This constant nonsense you hear about how "We are a nation of immigrants" is just that, nonsense. We are a nation of intelligent, productive immigrants who live with pride and create wealth in the process. That exists nowhere in the people who are currently pouring over our borders. All these people are, and ever will be are votes to the democratic party designed to keep them in power for decades, and in the process destroy this great nation. The current democratic party in this country would rather have power over millions of idiot's, than have it over fewer intelligent people who can think for themselves, and who can't be purchased with entitlement programs. Cities like Detroit and Chicago are smaller models of this entire political process, and prove beyond a doubt how they "work". Bill T.

Not to be a stickler, but there ain't no s in the book of Revelation. Other than that, I think it's a very worthy sentiment.
