Title: Another Reason To Shut The Border With Mexico. Just A Matter Of Time.
Post by: twyacht on November 04, 2010, 05:20:44 PM
You know those tunnels that run from Mexico to the U.S.? Drugs and humans aren't the only things they can be used for.

Here's a 9 minute glimpse of the "other" folks who know about them, and quite a plan indeed.

I'm surprised it hasn't happened already.

Please forward to Big Sis, and BHO.

They discovered a 600yd tunnel and 30 tons of ganja this week.

Another reason why Sadaam was useful. If the Muhabarat had gotten to him in '89, problem solved. The trouble is we seem to have two types of Arab leaders. The secular strongmen (Egypt, Syria, Sadaam, Saudi Arabia), or religious nut jobs. Me, I prefer the strongmen, them you can do business with. There will be no Jeffersonian democracy in the middle east. Deal with it and make your peace with folks who can see reason. Better Arafat or Sadaam, then Hamas or Hizzbulah or Abedenijad. :P

Remember that under consideration is allowing Mexico to have some amount of land in Kansas as a sovereign Mexican territory to be used for a depot for transport trucks from Mexico.  As I recall, the contents of the trucks would not be subject to customs inspection until they were leaving the depot for their destinations.

While this might pose a security risk, it would take a corrupt Mexican official to allow terrorist and/or terrorists gear to be loaded on the trucks.

As we all know, what are the chances of terrorists finding a corrupt Mexican Official?

They don't even need to be corrupt. Plato o plomo. How many police chiefs, judges, attorney's general, journalists etc. have been killed? Here's $50 k and pictures of your daughter at school. Why don't you take a smoke break at 2:30 this afternoon? :-\

I take a smoke break at 3:30, can I have the 50K? Oh thats right my daughters are out of school. ;D

But seriously, I could see that happening. Thats the way the cartels work. through intimidation and scare tactics.

The trouble is we seem to have two types of Arab leaders. The secular strongmen (Egypt, Syria, Sadaam, Saudi Arabia), or religious nut jobs.

The politicians and those with principles.  Their principles are 180 degrees from ours, but still they stick to their principles.

I have more respect for the zealots (nut jobs) but also understand there is only one way to win the argument:  Help them meet God.  Hearts and minds, win by hearts and minds--two to the heart and one to the mind.
