Was looking for a new high(er) cap 9mm for CCW. Usually carry a Bobtail 1911 .45 but when I'm want something smaller/lighter I carry a PF9. Guess we'll try this out and see if it is "all that" like Mr Bane says.
LNIB for a good price with the 10 round mag and 3 17 round mags.

Congrats, KPR, I came "" this close to getting one, except the width of the grip. The frame, barrel length, width if the slide are very good.
Just found the "need" to have the most rounds, in a "C" pistol for me, like other compact semi's, causes the grip to either be too long or too wide.
Ruger worked this one right, but damn that grip is wide...At some point a "balance" must be made between a "compact" and mag capacity.
Post a range report, and carry it, let us know what you think.
JMHO.

Yup, the reason I carry the PR9 in the summer is the grip width...it sits at about 0.88. The SR9c is thinner than the XD9, the M&P9 and the Glock...so I thought I'd give it a whirl.
Ruger reports the width at 1.27 or so...but that is the width across the ambi safeties. The grip iself is much thinner than that. 1.18 or so if I recall. Heck, a 1911 is 1.28 across the grips and it is noted for being thin in the mag area.
